Anthony J. Wilson is a photographer and film director born outside Detroit, Michigan. He left home at 18 for film school at Columbia College Chicago and never quite stopped moving.

He works between Los Angeles and New York.

His work is built on intimacy and observation. Staying long enough, getting close enough, until the full complexity of a person or a place starts to show itself.
