I was curious about making something more personal and fashion-adjacent, so I cast two siblings I'd worked with before and gave them a simple premise: return to your childhood home as young adults. Go into each room. Place yourself back inside it — the way it felt when you were small, what happened there, what you carried alone and what you shared.

We found a house in Los Angeles that reminded them of where they grew up in Detroit. They brought real objects from their childhood — photographs, keepsakes, things that had been sitting in boxes — and we used them to build out the rooms. What was on the walls and shelves was theirs.

Togetherness, loneliness, friction, love. The things siblings hold between them that never quite get spoken. I wanted an honest portrait of that — the warmth, but also the weight of growing up alongside another person.
