Sculpture Garden (2023 - 2024)

On November 4, 2023, Takumu Kamihagi was commissioned by Greg Greenstein to design a space for their newly developed property in Old Agoura, California, I was asked by Tak to document the process and make a film with him. The sculpture garden was completed on November 13, 2024. This design reflects Takumu’s influences, shaped by his dual upbringing in both Southern California and Japan. Drawing inspiration from the local landscapes and multicultural influences he grew up around, he weaves these elements with the timeless principles of Japanese design he was immersed in during his childhood.
